Emmy Awards 2025: da Scissione ad Adolescence, tutte le nomination della 77° edizione

La cerimonia si terrà al Peacock Theater di Los Angeles nella notte tra il 14 e il 15 settembre

Sono state annunciate nella serata di oggi le nomination per la 77° edizione degli Emmy Awards, i più prestigiosi premi televisivi dell’industria dello spettacolo americana. A proclamare le candidature Harvey Guillen (What We Do in the Shadows) e Brenda Song (Running Point).

A guidare la classifica quest’anno è HBO Max, con ben 142 nomination grazie a titoli come The Penguin, The White Lotus, The Last of Us e Hacks. Vincitori assoluti in termini di numero di candidature, tuttavia, sono gli show di Apple TV+ Scissione e The Studio, rispettivamente con 27 e 23 (in particolare, The Studio ha eguagliato The Bear per il maggior numero di candidature ricevute nella storia di un prodotto comedy). Ottimo risultato anche per The Penguin, che con 24 nomination sfiora il record detenuto da Watchmen (2019) per la serie tratta da un fumetto americano con più candidature della storia.

Nonostante la mancanza di un titolo come Shōgun, grande vincitore dell’anno scorso, anche Disney+ e FX hanno fatto incetta di candidature, grazie a The Bear, Dying For Sex, What We Do In The Shadows, Only Murders in the Building, Andor e Agatha All Along. Sono 128, in totale, le candidature ottenute da Disney, poco sopra Netflix con 121 (quest’ultimo spera di ripetere, grazie alla miniserie Adolescence, il successo del 2024 di Baby Reindeer).

Per quanto riguarda gli attori, Kathy Bates (Matlock) e Owen Cooper (Adolescence) sono ora la candidata più anziana e il candidato più giovane nella storia degli Emmy Awards, rispettivamente a 77 e 15 anni. Un altro veterano candidato per la prima volta è il grande Harrison Ford, che a 83 anni ha ricevuto la sua prima nomination all’Emmy per Shrinking. Si conferma infine il successo di The Last of Us, con le candidature di tutti e tre i protagonisti: Pedro Pascal, Bella Ramsey e Kaitlyn Dever. Non ce l’hanno fatta, invece, Patrick Schwarzenegger e gran parte del cast di contorno di White Lotus, Elisabeth Moss per l’ultima stagione di The Handmaid’s Tale e Kathryn Hahn e il resto del cast di Agatha All Along, così come i protagonisti di Andor.

La cerimonia di premiazione si terrà nella notte tra il 14 e il 15 settembre 2025 al Peacock Theater di Los Angeles, presentata dallo stand-up comedian Nate Bargatze. In Italia, l’evento sarà trasmesso in esclusiva su Sky Atlantic e in streaming su NOW.
