Emmy Awards 2026: da The Pitt a Widow’s Bay, tutte le nomination della 78° edizione

Il medical drama con Noah Wyle mette a segno ben 25 candidature, seguita da Hacks che mette a segno un nuovo record per una serie comedy e batte The Bear

Nelle ultime ore sono state annunciate le nomination per la 78ª edizione degli Emmy Awards, i più prestigiosi premi della televisione americana. A proclamare le candidature sono stati Liza Colón-Zayas, premiata lo scorso anno per The Bear, e Jeff Hiller, volto di Somebody Somewhere, nel corso della tradizionale diretta organizzata dalla Television Academy.

A dominare questa edizione è The Pitt, che si conferma la serie da battere con 25 nomination, tra cui quella per la Miglior serie drammatica e ben tredici candidature nelle categorie dedicate ai suoi interpreti. Ottimo risultato anche per Hacks, che conquista 24 nomination e stabilisce un nuovo record assoluto per una comedy, superando le 23 candidature ottenute da The Bear nel 2024 e da The Studio nel 2025. Tra i titoli più premiati figurano anche Widow’s Bay con 19 nomination, Pluribus con 18, Beef – Lo scontro con 16 e DTF St. Louis con 13.

Sul fronte delle piattaforme, è ancora una volta HBO Max a guidare la classifica con 122 candidature complessive, davanti a Netflix e Disney, entrambe a quota 111, mentre Apple TV+ continua la sua crescita grazie soprattutto ai successi di Widow’s Bay e Pluribus, raggiungendo 87 nomination.

Non mancano poi alcune curiosità tra gli interpreti. Zendaya torna a concorrere come Miglior attrice protagonista in una serie drammatica per l’ultima stagione di Euphoria, mentre Colman Domingo ottiene una doppia candidatura grazie a Euphoria e alla comedy The Four Seasons. Doppietta anche per Matthew Rhys, candidato sia per Widow’s Bay sia per la miniserie The Beast in Me, mentre Michael J. Fox conquista la sua diciottesima nomination agli Emmy grazie all’apparizione come guest star nella terza stagione di Shrinking. Tra gli esclusi più rumorosi figurano invece Taylor Sheridan, rimasto fuori con tutte le sue serie, e la stagione finale di Stranger Things, assente dalle principali categorie.

La cerimonia di premiazione degli Emmy si terrà il 14 settembre al Peacock Theater di Los Angeles e sarà condotta da Mariska Hargitay. Di seguito trovate l’elenco completo delle nomination agli Emmy Awards 2026:
