Indipendent Spirit Awards, 12 Years a Slave e Nebraska dominano le nomination dei premi del cinema indipendente americano

La cerimonia è l'anticamera dei tanto attesi Oscar e avrà luogo il prossimo 1 marzo 2014

Gli Independent Spirit Awards, i premi del cinema indipendente americano, come da tradizione vengono consegnati il giorno prima della notte degli Oscar e svelano in anteprima quali sono i film che avranno un posto d’onore durante la cerimonia più attesa dal mondo del cinema. Lo scorso anno fu Il lato positivo di David O. Russell a dominare, mentre quest’anno è 12 Years a Slave di Steve McQueen (Shame) a raccogliere il maggior numero di nomination (6 candidature tra cui Miglior Film) insieme a Nebraska di Alexander Payne. Tra i film nominati c’è anche La grande bellezza di Paolo Sorrentino, nella cinquina dei migliori film internazionali.
