La quarantesima edizione dei Golden Raspberry Awards (I lamponi d’oro, ribattezzati “pernacchie d’oro”), i cosiddetti Razzie Awards, hanno diffuso il video della cerimonia strettamente online a causa dell’emergenza pandemica. Il musical Cats di Tom Hooper domina la classifica con ben sei premi vinti, cosa che fa del regista una rarità, visto che ha vinto sia un Oscar sia un Razzie nella sua carriera. Per la peggior performance maschile ha vinto John Travolta in The Fanatic e Trading Paint, mentre Hilary Duff è la Peggior Attrice per la sua interpretazione in Sharon Tate – Tra incubo e realtà.
Come peggiori attori non protagonisti hanno vinto Rebel Wilson e James Corden, sempre per Cats.
