Sentite che novità: Ben Affleck e Kathryn Bigelow hanno portato a casa un paio di importanti premi cinematografici per i loro nuovi film, Argo e Zero Dark Thirty. Se sentite un certo déjà vu non preoccupatevi, è assolutamente normale: tra BAFTA, DGA, SAG e PGA, le due pellicole hanno già racimolato un numero impressionante di riconoscimenti, e a una settimana dagli Oscar è sempre più probabile che i due registi faranno filotto (Lincoln permettendo). Oggi vi parliamo dei premi per i quali era più probabile che Argo e ZDT vincessero qualcosa: cioè i WGA, i Writers Guild Awards, assegnati dal sindacato degli sceneggiatori d’America. Zero Dark Thirty s’è portato a casa la palma di Miglior sceneggiatura originale, mentre Argo quella per sceneggiatura non originale. Anche per quel che riguarda il lato tv nessuna sorpresa particolare: Miglior serie drammatica è Breaking Bad, Miglior serie comica Girls, a cui vanno aggiunti i riconoscimenti a singoli episodi di serial come Mad Men e The Walking Dead; per i videogame, invece, si porta a casa (qui sì un po’ a sorpresa) il premio per migliore sceneggiatura Assassin’s Creed III.
I WGA erano l’ultimo premio importante prima della serata dedicata ai premi più importanti di tutti: se questo ultimo mese è in qualche modo indicativo, già sappiamo chi porterà a casa la serata degli Oscar.
